Especially a shrub with a crown up to 2m high, winter-hardy, grows well in less suitable soils. However, Bluejay requires consistent pruning and watering. The first berries ripen in the second half of July, produced until mid-August (~ 3 weeks). This is a prolific variety (7+ kg from the bush), the berries are large and juicy.
